Well, I love red wine and over the past few years I've gotten into a bad habit of drinking too much each night. This has led to non-productivity and weight gain.
I want to treat myself better and hit the reset button, embark on a healthier lifestyle.
So ... as a first step, I am doing a 30 day wine fast!! I'll allow myself occasional beers which is fine. Wine has always been my problem.
Anyway, day #1 is in the books! : )

Great job working to improve yourself!
I've found that I use alcohol as a clutch to deal with everyday affairs. After fasting for many weeks from it I don't enjoy the taste anymore. Everybody is different; I'm not saying alcohol is bad and no one should drink it.
Here's to your increased activity and a healthier you.

5 days. Have had some light beers but, feeling better overall.

I can't personally get on board with this gauntlet . . . wine is the nectar of the Gods!
All good things in moderation, though, so good for you for figuring out you were overdoing it and taking action!

I'm bad. Had 2 glasses last night. Darn!!
Still ... I'm doing much better overall than before. Trying to get into shape.

Hang in there! I am with you, 30 days no beer, hard reset. I may breakdown at a party but then right back on the wagon.

I'm in for this. I've seen our spending on alcohol creeping slowly upward and want to reverse that trend. I'll go in with a goal of no wine until Thanksgiving.
