We had an insanely expensive November due to emergency medical bills; with more to come in. Since that has already amounted to about 5% of our net worth (thank goodness we were in a position to pay these things!) it is time to stop spending.
December is traditionally a difficult time for me to stick to frugality, because everything is on sale! But, I am going to post here for accountability; and anyone is welcome to join me.
With the exception of groceries (which I will only buy if my husband sends me for specific things, since he does the shopping), I do not want to spend a single cent buying things for myself or my household in December.

Why don't you join Despendber. You can set your own goals there.

I looked at the thread and it seemed more about overall reduction. I just want a no buy.

People have had very different goals in those monthly challenges. A lot focus on overall spending, others on savings or investment rates, and others on particular categories of spending. I'm sure you'd be welcome with a no buy goal. Its up to you, of course. Good luck!
