Let's win an Epic Pass (to ALL Vail ski resorts) for life together!

I need a partner to leave from California with me on November 22nd to visit 26 ski resorts in 4 countries in about a month. The prize is a season pass to all Vail resorts and partner resorts with no blackouts, FOR LIFE!

We should be able to do it for around $2k each including pass and flights if we don't win, and around $5k each if we do (due to taxes on winnings). It'll be a lot easier with two people and I can help hook you up with free flights to/from Europe. We should be home by New Years if we leave on November 22nd and keep pace.

We'd drive across the US (we can use my car and leave it in MN), ending in MN or MI, then fly to Europe and possibly rent a car for the week or so it would take us to hit the resorts. There's a pretty good chance we can win the prize if we're really systematic about it and we switch off driving at night.

So.... any takers?

A bit about me- my name is [redacted]. I'm 22, and run a small business bringing hands-on science to kids (presently taking a break to travel till next summer). I'm returning to San Francisco after 3.5 months traveling Europe and Indonesia, and I just discovered this contest. I have the time, the money, the credit card points (for flights to and from Europe), and the dedication to do this. Let's make an EPIC Mustachian trip!*

*A lot of people on Facebook are complaining about the costs of visiting all the resorts- I'd love to show them how cheaply it can be done between carpooling, couchsurfing, using points for flights, and never once buying resort food. ;-)

It sounds like a lot of work, and it would probably take the fun out of going to all those places. Basically spend an hour at each resort and mostly travel between them. If I'm going to travel to one of those resorts, I want to make it worth my time. The cost of the pass is relatively small compared to the travel cost and time (only get so much vacation and can't get it back). And the taxes alone are probably more than I will spend on Epic passes in my life. [60 years*$729*25% tax rate - $3000 cash prize]/$569 Epic Local Pass = 14 years of Epic Local Pass. The $2k estimated cost of the trip adds buys extra 3.5 years of Epic Local pass. Did I calculate that correctly?

But if I didn't already have commitments for the rest of this year I would do it! I already bought an epic pass.

Based on my income (around 30k) and the value of the prize (about 40k for me, less if you're older), I should be paying around $6k in taxes- so 6k + 2k total trip cost, minus 3k prize is roughly 5k total cost of trip and winnings- or 7 years of epic passes. So a lifetime of snowboarding for what most people spend on a week long ski trip :-)

These are pretty optimistic numbers and I'm waiting to get a more accurate tax outlook from an accountant, but regardless it would be pretty epic fun, and I hope I can find a partner!
