June isn't looking great for me, so I've mostly decreased my goals.  Except my embroidery, since I have a specific plan of attack there, and I think it will really help my mental health.

Work Related:
-Continue working on a five year plan

Creative:
   -Start several new embroidery projects
-Play piano at least one time

Health:
   -Exercise at least three times
-Schedule at least one hangout with a friend, or at least try in case people are busy and no one can
-Lower alcohol consumption *insert overly specific rules here*

Household:
-Do more than half (5/9) of the monthly chores, focusing on ones that haven't been done in a while
-Use up something from the freezer at least once a week

I am more a drifter and procrastinator and over-commit-then-give-upper and lose-focus-to-something-else-er .
I hope that joining the group gives me the benefit of increasing my accountability, and allowing me to learn from the experience of adjusting my goals based on my progress.

Finance
Reorder for a mini-decumulation phase until next job

1. create savings accounts for an envelops system for expense
2. shuffle CDs for better saving rates, build a ladder of CDs base on #1
3. Find better deal on investment accounts
4. Find better deal on retirement accounts
5. Do tax for 24/25

Work
Get ready for next career - whatever that is

1. File previous job doc etc
2. Refine plan for finding a new job

Health
Improve my health - I might never get back to who I was, but I will be different.

1. 3x50mins cardio, 2x strengths, 5 stretches per week
2. Brushing teeth meditation
3. Meet Friends x2
4. Family nights x4 and days x2
5. Therapy goals [* To be insert *]

Household
1. Declutter bedroom and dinning room
2. Finalize summer vacation plans
3. Garden - weed

June Goals

-Low-spend month (eat from pantry/freezer, shop my own wardrobe and bookshelves)
-pay $500 to CRA (tax instalments), $500 to RRSP, $1000 to vehicle fund, $500 to EF

-plan one fun outing with SO (camping or canoeing?)
-daily self-care practices (pick one small thing daily)
-try one new recipe/week

-write 5 pages/week

-call bank about designating beneficiaries (the reason I can't get this one done has been due to an online issue)
-see doctor about X-ray results, schedule any necessary followup

Keeping it fairly simple this month, since once the kids get out of school next week I'll have at least one kid home with me every day. My goals:

- Do C25k 3 times per week
- Get at least 10k steps 26/31 days
- Help kids declutter their rooms
- Read 4 paper books
- Stay within daily screen time goal
- Try 3 new recipes (or at least ones I haven't made for 2+ years)
- Decrease coffee consumption to 1 cup per day (this one will probably be the hardest!)

Practice dancing with my wife in prep for an upcoming vacation.

Change exercise regimen from walking 5+ miles/day to lifting weights and (maybe) different cardio.

See soon-to-be foster daughter once a week while getting process completed.

Begin the process for the following Oral History projects:
 - Wrongfully convicted and law enforcement professionals
    - Read the book "Bloods," which eventually led to the film "Dead Presidents," as a possible model for the book
 - Kanza people
 - Filipino immigrants

This is a good idea to set monthly goals
1) plan trip to VT
2) orange theory 2x/week, big gravel or MTB ride once a week
3) get out with girlfriends a couple times this month
4) work on DS's baby book
5) journal
6) enjoy work and try to keep 20 min open for lunch
7) stick with no S diet and don't go overboard on S days
8) don't sweat the small stuff

Week 1 update:

- Do C25k 3 times per week - on track
- Get at least 10k steps 26/30 days - completed 7/7 days, on track
- Help kids declutter their rooms - haven't started yet, waiting until the kids get out of school
- Read 4 paper books - 1 book read, on track
- Stay within daily screen time goal - met goal 7/7 days
- Try 3 new recipes (or at least ones I haven't made for 2+ years) 1/3 recipes made. I made a carrot ginger soup. My older daughter and I liked it, but husband and younger daughter weren't fans.
- Decrease coffee consumption to 1 cup per day (this one will probably be the hardest!) - I starting mixing ~1/3 Decaf beans in with the regular beans. I generally drink 2-3 cups a day, so if I increase to half Decaf this week I'll be nearly there in terms of caffeine intake

Update after my week off, but June isn't going that well so far.

Work Related:
-Continue working on a five year plan-actually sat down and did some work on this one, so I'm counting it as done!

Creative:
-Start several new embroidery projects-this didn't happen and I'm pretty bummed about it
-Play piano at least one time-not yet

Health:
   -Exercise at least three times-nope
-Schedule at least one hangout with a friend, or at least try in case people are busy and no one can-I will hopefully be doing a combined hangout/playdate with one of my local friends
-Lower alcohol consumption *insert overly specific rules here*-doing ok, but could do better

Household:
-Do more than half (5/9) of the monthly chores, focusing on ones that haven't been done in a while-nope I'm barelly functional on the daily/weekly chores
-Use up something from the freezer at least once a week-made some freezer fish, so I'll count that against this one

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
