Title: June Cycling Challenge 2017
Post by: jordanread on June 04, 2017, 06:20:13 PM
The cycling challenge for June 2017 is up and ready for you to start (or continue) riding!!
If you logged miles last month, and selected "Remember Me" on the form, you have been added to this month's sheet already.

If you didn't log miles last month, or are a new participant
Click here to fill out the form. (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/170tONAKxVJx9rYGqPLmLi0Z2nTXgQKLli50rq0o9hpk/viewform)
You can access the sheet directly at this link (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13t1Ws7v_ZC4lTLW0ZqIqHc4b5oG_j4-XcmAeAdqAXow/edit).
I can manually grab your historical data too, so if it's off, just let me know.  If they aren't there within a day, or you have any other issues with the sheet, hit me up via email, Google+ Hangouts (http://gplus.to/jordanread), PM, or just comment on this thread.
You can also join the MMM Strava Group (https://www.strava.com/clubs/207737) for additional metrics and motivation. Happy Biking.

Oh, and I am so sorry for the delay. I don't pay attention to the date, so this was late because I missed the fact it was a new month. I now have a reminder in my phone, so it shouldn't happen again.

Should be getting my Wolverine back on the road with a "get me by" wheel tomorrow.

Dyno Hub has traversed the globe and made it back to Germany, soon to be sent to the manufacturer for warranty replacement.

Then I'll have to rebuild that front wheel.

Wow, is it June already?  I've been so busy and haven't entered my miles here, or even read the forum.

Yesterday I went on my first gravel ride.  It's quite different riding a bike on loose gravel than it is on paved tarmac, but what a workout!

So far my wife and I have gone 5 months car free and are loving it.  Expect to easily make it through the summer and into fall.  When it starts raining all the time is when it will really try us, but with some good rain gear it should be easy.

Wolverine is up and running again, just in time for Day Car dropoff.  Also kid #2 got her first ride on a bike today.

Yeah, that's what I said. If you want to add miles, just let me know and I'll update the history.

Aww GT - I love kids on bikes, they always look happy. (well until they get cold anyway..)

Our kids love getting around by bike! My 15 month old even tries to put on his own helmet, backwards and upside down, climb up into his bike seat (he has pulled the bike over on top of him once already..), and he's trying to ride his sister's strider bike.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier!

Pinged to join the Stava group.  I live 4 miles from work and had no excuses not to start riding to work.  Amazing how much less stressed I am after 30 minutes of effort.

My goal is to ride every sunny day this summer.... And then ease into commuting in the rain.  (Washington is a wet state in the winters...)

Should just check in and admit I have failed in my yearly attempt to do the Strava Monthly challenges.

June sucked a big one for me.  The amount of time off work doing #daddydaycare and weekends spent getting the house de-cluttered and ready for sale meant I didn't even come close to meeting the requirements of the challenges.

Bit gutted.
