I'm working through the laptops, computers and mobile phones right now. My desktop is getting repaired, so by the time it's back in a fortnight I want to be ready to ditch all these unused ones. I want to get rid of:
- 2 laptops
- 1 slow desktop
- 4 mobile phones, all mine. 2 brick, 2 touchscreen.
That should leave us with a mobile each, a desktop computer and a tablet. DH intends to purchase a new laptop as the desktop is 5 years+, and we need something we can use if, like now, it ends up in the shop, as we both work from home on occasion.
My laptop is nearly empty, just need to discuss with DH where to move a few items to. So close! It's not as bad to use as I thought, now that I've got Dropbox selective syncing just a few small folders. Once DH has approved which programs to remove from it as well, I may end up keeping it for use around the house when I don't want to be at my computer (the battery is useless in it, should probably remove it).
We purchased a set of matching bookshelves, so that we can get rid of the furniture that doesn't quite work. I'm really excited and everything that goes on them needs to be thoroughly approved first - they're also going to be our new linen cupboard, as the current linen drawers in our bedroom are about to be devoted to nappies.
