I have changed a lot since coming here, and this month has been the best so far.
$200 les on groceries
$16 saved canceling audible and using library and digital library
$16 saved ripping cd to iTunes from library
$19 saved canceling HBO
$30 saved cutting my own hair. That includes a tip $7 when I go.
$0 spend frivolously
$100 a month added to 457
on track to save $500 in cash.
Night in day difference, and you know what? Im doing alright with all this. Frugal doesn't have to be miserable.

Sounds good - congratulations for sharing your badassity. So what is the gauntlet?

Keep padding that 457. It's a perfect fund for early retirement as you can withdraw money without penalties.
