I was 99.9% sure my last relationship was over when the person declared he was now IFing through dinner time.

There’d been a series of decisions that meant more and more of our life was unshared and I was going along with those. When he decided to remove sharing our most relationshippy meal, that was the last straw for me. Which is funny considering all of what had preceded this. But yep, if I’m in a relationship, sharing long wonderful meals is 47% of the whole goddamn point, dude.

Agree 100%, which is why I don't IF through dinner time or lunch time on the weekends. I mostly hope that I can trick my body into losing a few more pounds doing IF once in a while. When I reach goal, hopefully I'll be able to maintain with a more normal eating schedule.

Yesterday I had released 4+. Today, 2 lol. But 2 was my goal, so I'm happy even if the scale likes playing this little joke on me :)

My goal was to lose 3 and I think I did lose 3 or 4.  My pants have loosened up enough that I don't feel like I need to go buy new clothes.  Nice work everyone!

The end of April snuck up on me!

06-April:  184 lbs
28-April:  177 lbs

Down 7 lbs. My uniform blouse definitely feels looser, which is a welcome relief.

Not sure how I did it but I lost 6 total for April. I thought it was only four.

4/1 - 165
4/30 - 159.

Awesome.

3 again, but we've been traveling a lot so I haven't had as much exercise.

Only lost 3,5 pounds instead of the 6 I intended to loose, but I have to say I am happy to at least have lost those! So many temptations out there...
Will keep going in May

My official loss for April was 1 measly pound. 1. I didn't do a great job of anything in April so hoping to kick it up a notch in May.

Strangely, I seem to have stayed pretty much on the same trajectory. I must have started April in a valley and ended in a peak.

As of May 1, I was down 2.5 lbs so goal accomplished. For my body type and how I am wired, weight is all about sugar. Maybe someday I'll have to pull back on other carbs or fats or something but for now I am just focusing on sugar elimination as much as possible

And no I didn't move my lazy ass much more in April and it's a problem.

Thank you! I somehow still expect my metabolism to respond like I'm in my 20s, instead of my 40s. Slowly & surely, moving in the direction of my plan. :-)

I lost 6.5 (goal was 5).  But, it was all in the first 12 days...the last couple of weeks my weight has fluctuated up & down within a pound or so, but I can't seem to budge past the 6.5 mark. I know, I'm impatient.

Next thing to give up:  the daily pint. :(  Even though I don't crack open a cold one unless it's in my calorie budget for the day, all those evening carbs can't be doing me any favors.

Hey everyone - I've updated the roster with the achievement numbers reported and as a group we lost 54 lbs in April!

If I missed anyone or made any errors, let me know.

Thanks for completing the challenge!

@jane x   I forgot to post!  I had a cough all April, didn't think I was really sick but I think I may have been running a low-grade fever.  All this to say that for my 4 pound goal, I lost

7.7 pounds!
