Falling behind. Need to pick up the pace this month.

18. The Business by Iain Banks - My third by Banks this year. Like the other two, it took a long time for "plot" to happen. Unlike the others, I found the lead-up pretty boring. Don't recommend.

19. Western Lane by Chetna Maroo - Nice writing, but I didn't connect with this one.

20. Momo by Michael Ende - Read this in Spanish over the course of a year or so. Really great children's book with an anti-consumerism/capitalism message.

And another 20 done. This is actually a really good time to hit it as I'm leaving for a trip tomorrow and won't have computer access for a bit. Favourites marked:

201. The Knights of Crystallia by Brandon Sanderson
202. Dark One by Brandon Sanderson

203. 84, Charing Cross Road by Helen Hanff
This was so charming and cozy!

204. Allomancer Jak and the Pits of Eltania by Brandon Sanderson
205. Edgedancer by Brandon Sanderson
206. Shock the Monkey by Neal Shusterman
207. Cranberry Cove by Hailey Piper
208. A Philosophical Enquiry into the Origin of our Ideas of the Sublime and Beautiful by Edmund Burke
209. Reflections on the French Revolution by Edmund Burke
210. Councilor by L.E. Modesitt
211. A Letter to a Noble Lord by Edmund Burke

212. Hey, Zoey by Sarah Crossan
Notable only for containing one of the nastiest jokes I've ever heard, that made me put the book down for an hour: What do you call a sex doll with white eyes? Full.

213. When Among Crows by Veronica Roth
214. Autobiography by John Stuart Mill
215. Evocation by S.T. Gibson
216. On Liberty by John Stuart Mill
217. Characteristics, "Inaugural Address," and "Sir Walter Scott" by Thomas Carlyle
218. The Shattered Lens by Brandon Sanderson
219. Life in a Dream by Pedro Calderón de la Barca

220. Polyeucte by Pierre Corneille
This is one beautifully-written, intense play. I'm not normally a huge fan of plays but I could not put this down, every line is just perfect.

I've got a pretty good spread for the trip, it's just a road trip so no relevant reads, but I'll be catching up on a bunch of new releases, as well as hopefully a lot of Harvard Classics.
