48. Good Omens, Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett (mine). I love this book so much; always happy to re-read it.
49. Grovedaughter Witchery: Practical Spellcraft, Bree NicGarran (mine). Lucid and enjoyable.
50. Bhagavadgita, Edwin Arnold (mine). I'd been meaning to read this for ages, and am glad I did. The poetry was good (even in Victorian translation!) and there are always interesting ideas in old religious texts like this. I certainly don't agree with all of them, but it was worth it generally.
51. Witches, Midwives, and Nurses, Barbara Ehrenreich and Deirdre English (library). Mostly decent research, though I think anything connected to the witchcraft part here is much more suspect. The history of midwives and the modern medical profession is much better grounded, and they've done better at making that part of the discussion cohesive. Generally a valuable second wave feminist work.
I am at 14/15 for pre-2019 books.
