1. Reach 65% savings rate ($900)
2. Eliminate 90% of spending on non-essential stuff, like books, magazines, expensive drinks with friends, clothes, diet coke after lunch.
3. Spend significantly less on essential stuff, like groceries ($180 in June*, WTF), lunch at work ($90 in June).
4. Read at least 1000 pages
5. Run at least 3 times a week
6. Continue diet and lose 2.5 kilograms (87.0 --> 84.5)
7. Get rid of some trash and some unused equipment.
*We're living in Hungary, so that's a high amount (and this does not include my wife's spending).
EDIT:
First week:
1. on track, 2. on track, 3. fail, but not epic fail, 4. on track, 5. check, 6. on track, 7. oh yeah, I did it and it felt really good :)
Second week:
1. on track, 2. on track, 3. on track, 4. on track (~250 pages), 5. fail (only 2 training last week), 6. on track, 7. didn't do it last week
3rd-4th week:
1. going great!, 2. on track, 3. on track, 4. on track (~400 pages), 5. week1: 2 trainings, week2: zero training, 6. fail (one week at my parents' house, +1.5 kg), 7. didn't do it in last 2 weeks
At the end of the month:
1. Savings rate: 69% - due to higher costs (e.g. quarterly bank fees) and bad timing with buying groceries, buying some vitamin, using a barber's services and having 3 Spanish class in July instead of 2 - SR would have been over 75% without these spending
2. I decreased the non-essential spending by 30%.
3. July groceries: $100 (great), lunch at work: $73 (not a huge drop, and we were on vacation for 1.5 weeks)
4. I think I read less than 1000 pages, but I was close.
5. It was rather 2 runs instead of 3, but I'll focus on this more in August.
6. 87 --> 85.5, not bad, but I hope I can reach 83 by the end of August.
7. Not much happened since week one, I also need to focus on this next month.
