Huzzah for mastering technology. Also for good workouts. :)

Got my 15k yesterday. Feet are reminding me that they haven't run in a while, so I'll be gentle to them today/for the next few days -- I do want to go run again on Sunday, though.

I had 16,000 steps today during which time I did an hour-long Bodycombat home video. That really is a great workout and I highly recommend it.

Great Job! I do the Body Impact and am going to do the a class they have called Guard next week at our Y.  The Guard class is just the punching portion and speed bage where as at least by us The Body Combat class for me has to much kicking and with my knees that would not be a good thing. I use to do alot of that and it is a great workout!!

Yesterday 2/15 I did a CX class and then just walked on the indoor track to get my 15k workout steps and ended up with 17,773 total steps for the day. Been pushing hard and not getting much sleep last 3 days so tried to chill yesterday. Heading to the gym this morning!

2/16 - was so sore I couldnt do any classes so I kept it simple and did the Elliptical for an hour and got bored so then walked the track till I got my minimum 15k workout steps. Ended the day with 18,023.

So I lost the charger to my Fitbit....still walking though just not sure what they are. Climbed steps all day and took a stroll around 3pm today. It was sunny for once! Considering a nice power-walk tomorrow since I'll be home all day. (can't run yet still working on it)

What kinda phone do you have if any? tons of free apps and Apple actually has one built in. Otherwise pedometers are really cheap or if you know how many miles you walked you can google the euqation but either way good that you just keep walking!!

Yesterday 2-18 I got back to the gym and between a Hitt Sprint class, Elliptical and A little walking I got over my 15k exercise steps closer to 16k and with snowblowing I ended day with 19,236

Got my 13k the last two days.

So far this year I'm seeing a definite pattern regarding which days I do and don't get my steps - Thurs-Sun is hardest, due to commitments I usually have on those days. Need to figure out how to best double down on those days.

Just got to make time for yourself first! I know easier said than done but some time out for yourself somewhere in the day for even a brief walk is better than not!

2/21- Speaking of time mine was messed with yesterday so I was able to only get just past 12k working out because I had to go to the Y at 5am and get back to take my kid to school and I the other one home has ortho appt today so have to figure it out so I practice what i Preach. Anyhow I finished with 16,516 for the day.

12k/16k's not at all bad for a busy day!

14k yesterday (yaaas). I need to compare the patterns for  my good Thursdays versus my crappy ones; I know what's up with my low Fri-Sun,  but Thursdays are a mystery.

Yesterday was another struggle for me with a combination of waking up at 1:30am again and just beat. I did what I could an hour Body pump class, 1/2 hour on Elliptical and walked till 12k steps and then ended day with 14,299. I am already above that for today though i got a good night sleep or should I say better at least! lol

LOL , yep gotta do that once in awhile!

2/23- Went to the Y and my left knee was pretty sore so I skipped the classes and did an hour on the Elliptical and then walked the track to get my 15k Exercise steps and ended Day with 18,033 as with the weather here I did pretty much nothing after that.

Well done! now go for 13,500! lol @diapasoun

2/25- Due to lack of sleep and energy my workout was 90 minutes and not my best but i did manage to get 12k steps in from Exercise and finished the day with 18,122. I am happy though with my Fitbit numbers and plan on doing some classes today so not going to obsess about the step count sure it will end up north of 15k in the big scheme of things.

I've been travelling the last couple weeks and the weather is again bitterly cold here so I've only gotten 10K or more steps in a handful of times since my last update. I hope the weather warms up a bit so I can continue going on my lunchtime walks.

Yesterday was not a good step day. I just couldn't pull myself out of the house for an evening walk -- I was in a pretty crummy mood and self-medicated with couch and computer. Whoops.

I also woke up late today, so not sure how today's step count will go, either. (To be fair, I got up late because I stayed up three hours later than normal having a wonderful, wide-ranging conversation with my partner about a whole bunch of things, and that was well worth waking up too late for a real morning walk.)

@haypug16  Weather has been the sh+ts here. Woke up to more snow. Feels like the longest winter in 30 years.

@diapasoun  Sounds like you got something more important done! today is a new day. In the end as long as most days we can exercise were doing better than most of the people!

2/26- I had a good total day of 20,231 steps but I really had to chase to get them. First I went to a Bodypump class at 5:20am then ran home to take my youngest to HS. Got dinner made then was out the door by 9am for my first Winter Walk despite being 7 degrees and walked for 90 minutes. To far to go back to Y and didnt want to waste the gas. But that gave me my over 15k exercise steps I shoot for. Then I had to coach bb again last night and just running around. Today is going to be chaotic as well AND I HAVE TO SHOVEL YET AGAIN! UGGGH!!!

2/17- Ended day with 18,888. 16k was made up of shoveling, then I went to Gym and did a spin class and a CX class a half hour on Elliptical and short walk. My OCD wishes I would of rounded it off to 19k. haha

12k yesterday.

I wanted to go to the gym this morning (I just got a membership) but ended up waking up in the middle of the night and tossing and turning for three hours. So, no deadlifts for me this morning, but I did get a decent walk in.

Hit 13k goal on Saturday.

18k steps yesterday -- I walked downtown to read at a cafe for a while, and then was so keyed up after a stressful house meeting that I persuaded Boyfriend to go for a long walk with me at like 9pm.

10k steps already today; I went to the gym (some elliptical time, ugh I'm out of cardio shape) and then took my neighbor's dog for a walk.

Are you feeling that good-antsy-can't-wait-to-move feel? Because as frustrating as it is when you have it, it makes the later movement SO GLORIOUS.

12k and 13k the last two days.

Today so far has had a gentle elliptical session (honestly I was just too stressed to do one that really made me sweat) and a lazy dog walk, but still also means that I'm already at 12k steps -- I'd have to *try* to miss my 13k goal. :) That makes me really happy.

I've been enjoying having a gym membership again, and using it.

3/8-17,304 - Yesterday was yet a struggle but I got my 15k Exercise step and the rest from not doing much. Almost wonder if I dont have a small bug just feel off kilter. Anyhow today is going to be tough as I am heading to Indiana for two soccer games and the weather is suppose to be shit! But hopefully I can get at least 10k steps in but we will see.  Since I get back home tonight makes for a long day as well.

Hit my 13k goal yesterday.

I lifted weights (including squats and deadlifts) for the first time in a loooong time yesterday, and I am FEELING it today. I was intending to do some cardio today, but slept through my gym alarm this morning due to the DST switch (was SO tired), and I'm not sure I'll have the legs for it later. Maybe just a nice long walk....

Awesome, haypug!!

Despite the DOMS, got 20k steps yesterday - it was sunny and I took a LONG stress walk with a housemate.

Still have the DOMS so no gym this morning. Hoping I'll be good to go tonight; if not, tomorrow.

A new pair of shoes can help a lot with foot soreness. I'm already starting to lose some of the fatty tissue in my heels (wtf body, I'm in my early 30s!), and moving from shoes with zero padding to a pair of running shoes with light padding in the heel has made my feet much, much happier.

Do you find that your shoes affect how your knees feel?

Made it to my 13k goal yesterday through the power of pacing my bedroom for 15 minutes before sleep. :)

14,343 steps yesterday of which 12k was from exercising. Still battling a funk my sinuses are killing me.

I have two pairs of shoes I alternate every other day. One of them is fairly knew. I've tried all different things and have special insoles because like my knees my ankles are shot from to much BB in my youth. Shoes dont really make a differnce on my knees anymore as they are so far gone its just a matter of when I have the surgeries. I can deal with the knee pain but the foot pain gets more annoying and yesteerday the outside of my right ankle really bothered me. [

Not sure if I am going to do anything today or not. I might back down the step count a bit and do more classes to get my fitness still in. Got to mull it over. Suppose to be warm today so an outdoor walk would be nice

19k yesterday! Gym + a long walk in the morning + walking to dinner out with a friend yields RESULTS, apparently.

It sounds like a lower-impact fitness than running (or maybe even than walking?) might help right now -- do you have access to a pool/indoor bike/anything like that? (No idea if the bike is easier on the knees.)

Feet actually feel good this morning. I pretty much did nothing yesterday. I ended 3/14 with 3341 total steps. Just been in this two week cloudy mind funk but thats ok I have been going at it pretty hard and with the weather bouncing up and down. I am going to get at least 15k today or less but some classes. If i get 10 or 12 and do two class from a fitness point its better off calorie burning wise anyhow. Nice job on the 19k.

3/15 actually before I changed my mind just walked out the door and scouted all the flooding and came back about 2.5 hours later with about 18k Steps so ended day with a slightly swollen left knee which is fine this morning and 21,499 steps for the day. Not sure what I will do today as we have a bunch of Soccer games and stuff but what ever it is will probably be light weight!

3/16- Got myself moving and ended with a good step day of 25,655. Went for 2 hour walk and then had soccer matches to watch outside in the day all day so had to keep moving to stay warm. More today but doubt I will go for the big walk. Maybe a short one cuz i want to get back to the Ymca tomorrow fresh.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
