TaxAct & Massachusets Public Employee Question
« on: April 13, 2019, 09:36:48 PM »
Hi,
I'm trying to do my wife's taxes on our Massachusetts Form 1 using TaxAct and have run into a problem. My spouse is a public school teacher and pays into the state teacher's retirement system. There seems to be no way to enter those contributions in TaxAct. Worse, there is no amount showing up on Form 1, page 2, Line 11a. The information can only be entered informationally using TaxAct's online W2 form for her job. Is there a way to manually enter a number? Is there a way to enter this through the "Q&A" process?

(Sorry to ask here. TaxAct hasn't been responding to emails or answering calls for a few weeks.)
