If I used a rental car to bring stuff to a charity, can I take the cost of the rental off my tax bill as part of a charity donation? The car cost maybe 30$ all in all, but since it was used only to bring the donations I thought maybe it's eligible.

I couldn't find anything on the CRA's website.

Any advice?

How are you getting a charity donation for giving "things" that need to be carried in a car?
If you can elaborate, there may be a way.

Normally, used items are donated without a charitable receipt, as "delivered" to the donation site.  You could ask for them to pick it up, maybe...

Hmm  I guess one way to have more costs covered by the donation / charity, is to have your company donate a service and provide an invoice for the normal value.  I guess this could include the service of a car rental or delivery services....

e.g. I will use my furniture store business to buy new furniture for your silent auction and donate it, and here is my wholesale cost for the furniture, which includes delivery cost..  ??

Or more likely:
I will donate $1000 cash to your charity, and in turn you will buy $1000 worth of delivered furniture with it (with proof that is is real, not fake cost).

Charities have to be quite careful with how they receipt items.

A few bags of old clothes, and some furniture. I don't own a car so I have no other way to take it there; public transportation doesn't go to where the charity wants it. And they don't pick up these items.

Are you getting a charitable receipt? I don't usually get one on donations and it's not eligible for a tax deduction

I can't see an easy way to to receipt that and get it accepted under scrutiny.   Just put it as free on craigslist, instead, and someone will pick it up for you.
