*small successes*
« on: October 22, 2015, 10:24:04 AM »
I'm *SO PROUD* of myself, ya'll! This morning, after I left my chiropractor appointment, I was STARVING!!!
Now, usually, at this point, I would have swung right into Sonic/Chick-Fil-A/McDonalds & picked me up a breakfast toaster w. tots/chicken biscuit/sausage biscuit w.hashbrowns & went right on along w.my day...BUT..
I DID NOT!
I RESISTED!
& now I'm at home eating leftover fried chicken w.hot sauce & brown rice!
yummm (=

That's great! I've trained myself in this regard as well. No matter how hungry I am, I know I'll be home in 20 minutes or less and I can eat there.

Good job!
And now that you've conquered this part, you know you can find so many more ways to save. Every dollar saved adds up over time :)

Those small successes really start to grow on you.  These days we almost never walk out the door without a thermos of coffee or tea and a snack just in case.
