Couldn't sleep so I got up around midnight and threw lots of stuff that was about to go bad in the slow cooker... turnip, carrots, mushrooms, sweet potato, onion, broccoli stems, cauliflower, chicken hearts, and back bacon. Didn't even bother to chop it all up. Sounds bad but then I added a bottle of red wine and cloves. Yep, had it for breakfast, delicious! (
