I just had a chance to update our NW tracking spreadsheet and was stoked to find that we crossed the $1M threshold. It's pretty anticlimactic really.  I did text my husband but can't really tell anyone else. We are 33 and 35 and have 2 year old twins.  Our next milestone will be $1M in investments! Hoping we can hit that in the next 3 years depending on how the market does.  Below are the details.  We received one inheritance of $13k and the kids' 529 plans were funded by grandparents (woohoo!!!) but other than that it has been all us.  Oh and our parents paid for our undergrad which gave us a huge savings advantage early on.

HSA $11k
Brokerage $153k

Kids' 529 Plans $60k

Mortgage @ 3.75% ($135,000)

Nice work - remember to reward your good husband.  He gave you 2 beautiful kids and $1M NW.  I know, you also contributed but it really does take two and he's the other half!

Oh, by the way, you'll likely be crossing it two more times, once on the way down and once on the way back up.   So you'll get to celebrate again! :)

Congratulations, what a great milestone you've achieved.

I agree it sucks not sharing with people in real life, but you've got all us here to boast to.

I hope to get there myself in about 4 years time.
