Well my 3 year contract with telus finishes tomorrow, I just negotiated my new bill. Shaw our one and only competitor had a student deal that was about half off, 68 dollars for all 3 phone, int, tv, instead of a 139 for the same package. I told telus that we would be switching and their retention dept instantly countered shaws deal, even increased the channel package and upped my Internet from 6 bit to 25 bit. I'm paying 72 now instead of 135 before, its shared with a renter so its not really something I can go without buying, it's built into his rent.
