Took the plunge
« on: September 11, 2013, 10:31:06 AM »
I just signed a one year contract as a 1099.  I took the position I have been debating about for a while now.  I will have to go do some day trips, but it won't be too bad.  I am still debating (since I do not have a non-compete clause for either position) about staying in my contract to hire position until that contract runs out.  They have yet to make an offer - though I know what the offer is going to be around.

Both are working from home with little to no travel.  I am probably going to forgo the hire, but there is definitely a thought of doing them both and really taking a massive income boost.

Do you think you could swing both?  That could be a killer way to get your debt paid down!

I honestly have no idea if I can handle both.  It would take some work.

The funny thing is, I just got an e-mail regarding a position I applied for when I was first laid off back in early July.  Really, 2.5 months to get back to someone in a field where there is high demand?

Wow.
