When was the last time you ate at a restaurant?

It's been two months since I last ate food from a restaurant.  I have a vacation coming up next month that will probably ruin this streak, but still, I'm pretty happy with it.  Anyone else try to go for long stretches?  What's your longest?

Right now.

My scale refers to the last day I didn't and that was Monday.  The first in many workday months.  No badassity here on that subject.

saturday june 15, my MIL took us to chili's for my birthday.  the longest i've ever gone is prolly 2-3 weeks.  i love eating out, its my favorite.

Last night. I've had a friend visiting for the last week and a half, and we have gone out to eat a number of times. Eating out is my weakness.

Two weeks ago. We'd just got married. Stayed home for the honeymoon but ate out six times in a week (that's more than in the entire year previous).

Usually once every month or two.

On Saturday.  Friend got a movie gift card from someone else for his birthday, so he "treated" for the Star Trek movie and I bought dinner:  Two big fat chicken gyros and a sweet tea (birthday treat for friend): $8 total bc I had a buy one get one free coupon.

I think the longest I've gone in the past couple years was about a month and a half spell where all I spent eating out was $1.19 at Bojangles for an egg biscuit.  Usually I get caught up in eating out because of the social aspect of it; coworkers organize group lunches, etc.

This has been a good reality check as it just made me look at my tracking on that.  In May I spent $130 eating out.  To be fair, I have two kids, but still that seems like a lot for one month.  Vowing to do better!

My eating out is typically restricted to the weekends.

My husband and I don't eat out much just as a couple. Although, I still I find it hard not to eat out at least twice a month for social reasons.  Everyone has got to eat and it becomes the standard activity for graduations, birthdays or whatever random get together.

A couple of weeks ago I ate at an awards night at a big function. Actual restaurant? Not since April - family birthday.  Usually only eat at restaurants for big events like family birthdays, and/or "functions" like the above that I really need to go to.

Last night.  Took the wife out to one of the local places (Tony Packo's) that's just down the street.  We hadn't been out in a couple weeks so it was a special treat for us to go get some really good dogs!
