Tiled the Guest Bath

Hey all.  Long time MMM reader but new Forum poster.

DW and I have been in our home about 2 years now, and after doing a lot of minor work ourselves (painting, minor drywall repair, etc.) I finally took the step to "real" work with a tile job in the guest bath. 

Lots of YouTube lessons and a little panic later (spread a little too much thinset for my tiling speed at the start, yikes!), the project turned out nice and it's a source of pride.  Also important - DW is just as happy with the job and savings as I am, and more likely to be on board with more ambitious DIY projects in the future

Didn't take a before picture, but here's the after.  Take my word for it that it's an improvement.  You can also see the fancy new toilet I installed while at it.  Not sure if the two-flush options end up saving much, but the old one was shot and I liked the idea of using a little less water when going #1

Looks great! Those look like expensive tiles. How much did those run, out of curiosity? I'm looking to redo my bathroom.

They were $1.70 EA (6" x 24" or 1 sqft).  Ink-Jet printed porcelain tiles from Floor & Decor.  Total project material costs for the ~65ft  bathroom was in the ballpark of $350.  Rough Breakdown of $120 for tiles, another $50 - $100 for the thin-set/grout/sponge/bucket/trowel/etc., $80 for Tile Saw rental, and another $50 for wax-ring, replacement flange, etc.  I added another $130 on top for the toilet, but that's optional.
