This week, my car didn't move. At all.

I did all my errands, including groceries on my bike, and each morning I loaded my 5 year old daughter into the bike trailer and rode her to daycare, then rode on to work (a 17km round trip). Except for today.

Today, my 5 year old rode her bike and I rode mine! It took A LOT longer, of course, but was totally worth it. We had to stop to look at and talk to a mouse that had ventured out onto the trail, and to observe a rabbit and have a lengthy discussion about how its ears give it better hearing than ours.

I can't retire yet, but I can squeeze in some extra Daddy time here and there while I work toward it!

Good job.  You have my vote for one of the U.S. best dads - assuming you're in the U.S.

Edit: D'OH - your profile says Canada.  I can't comment on the level of awesomeness in Canada's dads.  Sorry.
