Surveys for cash in Google Play store

At random times you'll get a survey and a reward from $0.20 - $1 to use in the google play store. Music, apps etc. In a couple months I've gotten $8, enough for an mp3 album.

Surveys are usually 3-6 questions or so and I tap through them in <30 sec (nobody said I had to answer truthfully..). I'm not sure if they'll give a reward if you aren't a good "fit" for the survey so I usually answer positive; "yes, I did buy a Lexus recently", "yes I do watch a lot of TV" etc.

ahh...I think I'll stick to swagbucks.  I can make a lot more than $8.  Made about $150 last month just playing with it here and there.

Why not do both?
$8 for total of 2 min of work (often while on the toilet) isn't too bad IMO.

Oh, I got the wrong idea then...I thought it took much longer as all the paid surveys I've seen are like 20-30 minutes and ANNOYING.  Thanks, may check it out!

$8 to spend on the Google Play store is not worth $8 to me. I suppose I could put some of my music for sale there, buy it myself and pay whatever percentage Google takes in order to keep the rest, but y'know.

Yeah, I didnt read that either.  I dont like the "money at our store" thing.  Rather have cash or a gift card that I can use to remove cash from my budget. I would never play for Mp3s.

These are real short, sometimes just 2-3 questions.

I do listen to music so don't mind having money in the store, but guess torrenting music is the more mustacian thing to do..

can you give any more details on how you manage this? i got £70 last year and was more than happy with that but would be interested in boosting it!

same. I checked out swagbucks but taking a poll for 3 cents won't get me far. I did a survey; spam clicked through without reading the questions and still took ~5 min, for about a buck or less. Not sure it's worth my time. Need to find the things there that are more lucrative.

There are a ton of ways to earn them. If you go on their page there are all kinds of ads you can search through, select what you're willing to do to earn them.  Also when you shop, go through them to earn points.   You can also use coupons through their site, use them at your store to earn more.  We've made hundreds of dollars through Swagbucks.

@mxer54:  This is very intriguing, $150 can go a long way for frugal folk.  How much time would you say you spent to earn the $150?  Thanks in advance.

I use inbox dollars.  They basically send you spam email, and you click on it for two cents.  They also have surveys you can do.  I hit the emails when I am standing in line at the store, or waiting for meetings at work to start.  I'll do a survey every now and again if I am feeling bored.  I make about 10-15 bucks a month.  Not a huge amount, but I look at it like picking up pennies on the ground.  If anyone is interested, let me know and I can refer you.

My DW is a big swagbucks user, but I think she averages more like $50/month in "earnings".
