Sure got my annual auto miles down

I realized my 80K service was due on my 2000 Audi that I purchased used for cash in 2001 when it only had 5K miles on it. I needed an A/C recharge so I took it into my mechanic to get the oil changed and A/C system serviced. I am religious about my oil changes every 5K miles and I was surprised when my mechanic and I realized that my last oil change was in December 2012 at 75K miles; yes.... two years ago. I have only driven the vehicle 5K miles in the last two years.

Wow, that's awesome!  I still use my car for commuting 9.5 miles by highway (which unfortunately cannot be avoided in my industry) and we use it for all our road trips, out of town shopping trips to the warehouse store, visits with family out of town, etc.  I have it down to 10,500 miles a year so far and I'm working on getting it lower.
