Finished school 2007, Paid off my loans a couple of years ago, but just last month received the confirmation letter from Dept of Education that my wife's loans have finally been repaid, as well. We are on track to have the house and car paid off in 16 months, at which point we'll be 100% debt free. If we can do it, you can do it. Knowing that you are beholden to no one will transform your day to day experience - no more stress about "bills."
