Sold my (only) car today!

Thanks again for you guys' encouragement in this thread! I've gone carless for 2 months (been biking to work for 3 months now), and as I haven't been using the car and haven't been missing it at all, I decided I should just sell it and save the insurance/maintenance costs. I no longer own a car.

I bike everywhere now - to work, to get groceries, to visit friends/family, social events, to meet local Mustachians, etc. I occasionally use mass transit, though the SF Bay's system is pretty bad. I have no need for a car, and am now going to be saving thousands a year by not owning one, not to mention being more healthy and helping the environment.

Thanks again to the resident Mustachians for pushing me over the edge! ;-)

Awesome. In the Bay Area as well and sold my only car today.  Regret buying the thing and happy its now gone.  Here's to saving more money!!! 💰
