Rocksquasher 1.0, bought in March 2014 for $7200, explored Arizona a bit and spent a week in Baja over Christmas, then decided it was overkill for my style of offroading. Sold for $7500 :)
We had a good, albeit brief, run - it's always fun to play with something for a while and then get your money back :D

Looks & sounds like so much fun! I can't wait to be financially able to do something like this! (ETA wishing to Overlanding: 3 yrs)

Nice! The extra you got for it more than covered the registration, etc. Now you've got me thinking about how I could apply this principal to buying / selling things. :-)

Congratulations!
I have no attraction to 'off road vehicles'..
But I have a sports car in the garage. I buy a well-depreciated cream puff, keep it creamy, enjoy working on it, driving it, and looking at it, and sell it 5yrs later for the same or more $$. Only way to satisfy the need.
