I started a similar thread
here, I've been meaning to bump it up with my most recent round of planning.
I think I'll go do that now, actually. That thread was older than I thought.
My plan is to go through all of these recipes once then start at the beginning and go through them all a second time before moving on to the next five week plan. I only plan four dinners per week. Two previous iterations of this can be found at the link, I actually should start figuring out the next iteration.
Potato nachos (shredded chicken thighs or beef) - Eh, just make regular nachos.
Paprika lime marinated chicken, roasted vegetables, either rice side or rolls
Sticky soy ginger glaze chicken, vegetables, rice
Orange apricot pork chops (slow cooker)Broccoli salad - oven roasted the broccoli and onion, turned out awesome.
Stuffed pepper casserole - this was basically a quiche. We just did enchiladas the second time.
Chicken florentine pasta Fennel chicken with orange (slow cooker) - Eh, this came out okay but not great. I probably won't use this recipe again cause I have too many other chicken recipes.
Pineapple pork chops, rice, [vegetable side]
Burrito bowl/cowboy caviar (add meat maybe)
Lemongrass coconut chicken - DELICIOUS. This is probably my new favorite meal on this list.
Middle eastern chicken, vegetables, chickpeas, couscous
Lemon roasted chicken and cauliflower - again, okay but not great.
Mushroom pasta
Black bean and sweet potato indian dish (veg) - this turned out pretty good, I think I'll change the processing steps for a different texture at the end
Italian chili (slow cooker, beef)
Broccoli cheddar (sweet) potatoes (add crumbled bacon) - I really liked this one
Creamy chicken/beef fajita pasta - husband gave this one the thumbs up, which is shocking considering it's a pasta dish and he thinks I make pasta way too often.
Pizza spirals (maybe add pepperoni) - No. Lots of work for not an impressive result. Just do home made pizza, same flavor for a lot less work.
Honey chicken thighs (slow cooker or roasted)
