Just had to post a small victory for myself.
In 2012 when I started my career my savings rate was 5% I had bought a few fun things and a new truck
In 2013 it was boosted to 12%
2014 still 12% maybe a bit more and I paid off a lot of debt
2015 I bumped it a bit to 20% where I saved a down payment for a house
2016 I just calculated my YTD savings rate was 40.7%
I hold only my mortgage and not other debt today.

Way to go! I track my net worth but I may start crunching some numbers to find my saving % rate
