Saved my coworkers retirement

None of them noticed that the payroll contribution to RRSP hadn't gone through to our brokerage on May 31, but thanks to Mint and my diligent tracking of expenses and income, I was all over my work and the brokerage to figure out where my 42% contribution off my pay had gone!   Turns out a "glitch" (ID - 10 - T user error?) prevented the transmission of funds.

It amazes me how most people don't even notice.

This happened 2-3 times at my last job when they were having payroll staff issues.  I was the only one in a company of 300 people who noticed.  Of course, probably less than half of the employees contributed to their retirement accounts.
