I've always been a saver, but I've outdone myself so far this year and managed to save/invest a whopping 77.5% of my after tax pay since the beginning of the 2017/18 tax year and it is in huge part thanks to MMM and everyone on the forums - so wanted to take this chance to say a big thank you!
Big things that have helped me save money are I work from home now, so that cuts out massive commuting and lunch costs, and I bike everywhere.
A big chunk of my savings are going on a house downpayment in the next 6 months or so, so it will be very weird going from high net worth in cash or cash equivalents to almost zero again, but then the real FIRE begins.
