Title: Saved $40 graduation cap and gown
Post by: nancy33 on October 24, 2019, 09:38:24 PM
My 24 yr old son left his high school graduation cap and  gown here. Now middle son is graduating high school and we save $40! Hoping to still  have it when third son graduates high school in 5 years!  Will be interesting to see what the price will be in 5 years

The high school that I taught at for decades had the policy of having seniors always wear the same color cap and gown, allowing siblings and relatives to hand down the gown. I was there long enough to see the gowns worn by children of previous graduates! This is an idea most high schools should follow, to encourage thrift and lessen waste.

My three kids all wore the same gown. My oldest (daughter) lost the cap so I got a replacement on amazon. It was funny because it was a very very slightly different shade of red so it was always easy to spot my boys.
