Title: Refilling printer ink cartridges
Post by: FireLane on July 20, 2019, 02:33:40 PM
Printer ink is a racket: Ounce for ounce, it costs more than vintage champagne or Chanel No. 5 perfume. This is all markup, not because the ink itself costs that much.

I use about one black and one color cartridge per year for my inkjet printer, at a cost of $50-60. I had resigned myself to this as one of those annoying costs I can't do anything about.

But I just found a store near me, Cartridge World, that refilled my nearly-dead black ink cartridge for $10! That's less than half what it would have cost to buy a new one from Amazon or Staples. I'm definitely doing this from now on.
