Here is a possible hack for reducing your trash bill. I noticed that my neighbor uses the smallest available trash can as do we. I suggested that we combine our service. We are going to upsize our can to the next size and split the use and cost. This will eliminate extra cans at the end of our shared driveway, and since the cost to upgrade to a larger can is only $5 more we will both save money (almost half of what we were paying before combining)!
