Practice Annual Review
« on: October 21, 2016, 11:51:15 AM »
I did a practice annual review with the advancement operations person.
She gave me the sheets for the review, advice on my pitch, and the questions I need to ask the union to find out about moving w/in my pay scale.

Overall it went really well and she thinks that bringing up projects to work on at the upcoming review would put me on a path to ask for a promotion or pay scale change at the next review.

I didn't make any money, but I laid the ground work to do so :D

Cool, getting prepared is a good idea.  Good luck on the real thing.  :)
I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.
If you want to know more about me, this Business Insider profile tells the story pretty well.
I (rarely) blog at AdventuringAlong.com. Check out the Now page to see what I'm up to currently.

Let us know how your next review goes! It's great that your company supports its employees with these types of services.
