Performed first ever significant Bike repair...

and everything seems to work fine!

So when the weather started to turn I swapped out my "winter wheels" for my spring summer wheels. Well, during my first ride on my lighter/fancier wheels I heard an awful "screetch" and vibration coming from either the bottom bracket or the rear hub. When I thought about it for more that a second I deduced that it could not be the bottom bracket because I heard the noise when I was coasting. So, I did a little digging and learned that you have to occasionally "maintain" your free-hub. So, I took off my rear cog cluster (First time I have ever used a chain whip), dismantled the free-hub (turned out to be easier than the videos indicated), de-greased and cleaned everything, then re-lubricated everything with some mineral oil, making sure the little "springy-things" went back in place neatly put everything back together, applied a little chain lube and bang-zoom everything works.

Chalk up 1 success for the mechanically inept YAR.
