Passed 100k!

Yesterday I passed 100k net worth! I started out 6.5 years ago in my first job with what I estimate was probably around -$20,000 of net worth, given my college loans. I started out on a salary of $32,000/year working at a non-profit. Only this past summer did my salary go over 50k (currently making $53,000) - all while living in HCOL Washington, DC. Getting to $100k has been a long but consistent path. I'm excited to finally achieve this milestone and looking forward to my money growing faster!

I currently have ~$77,000 in retirement funds, $1,400 in a brokerage account, and ~$29,000 in savings (recently started a part-time MBA, so holding a large amount in savings for tuition payments). And I have currently have $2,700 of debt on my undergrad loan.

Keep up the great work! The first $1, $100K, $1M, etc. is always the hardest. You are approaching the point where investment returns will push your NW forward on top of your personal savings/efforts.
