One year anniversary of zero line of credit.
« on: July 17, 2013, 08:26:21 PM »
It's been a year since I have had any line of credit balance.  Life feels way better, lighter, I went from 18-23 always in debt.  Not that it was all that poor debt, I bought a house on student loans, went to 2 years of school, dated and married a girl (from a different town gas $$$) and a lot more.  I defenetly was not efficient with my money but am getting there.  Right now we vary between 40-50 percent savings rate.

Just to clarify for me (because I can be pretty slow):

You have no credit line at all, or just no balances that you are carrying?

Zero Credit line at all, well $1.00 just to keep my wife's student line of credit at prime +1 open for emergencies.  Zero credit card debt, never was that dumb, only ever held at near prime or below.

3 years on truck (465/mo)  and 10 months on car (325/mo)and I'm payment free on hopefully it house, hopefully for life.  Cars at 0% and trucks at .9% so excess money goes to investments/mortgage instead.  They were both pre mmm purchases, but are good vehicles that il keep a long long time.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
