One man's trash...
« on: May 10, 2016, 02:55:19 AM »
I was outside washing the car at the weekend when I saw someone at the end of my road put a perfectly good babies high chair out next to their rubbish bin. I have a one year old niece who already has a high chair but whenever the family get together at my mother's house every fortnight, my sister has to cart the high chair back and forth. So I picked the high chair up and will take it to my mother's house. That way, grandma will have a high chair at her house for years to come that will serve my niece and then my own children when I have them over the coming years.

As an extra bonus it turns out to be from the "must-have" brand Mamas & Papas and would cost over £100 to buy new - so it's likely that it can be sold for a modest profit when it is eventually no longer required. Result

It amazes me how many people think they have to have brand new baby stuff.

'It's got germs!'

Usually the next thing out of their mouth:

'Babies are SO expensive!'
