Net Worth Changes
« on: June 28, 2016, 07:35:36 AM »
My wife and I recently passed the 100K mark for our net worth. Last year we started noticing some days where we gained or lost more money than we made in our daily wages.

This month might be the first time since I've started tracking our monthly net worth where the amount will decrease from the month prior even though we've saved the same amount as usual. This all depends on the market of course which is currently undergoing a fit because of Brexit, but that's why my wife and I are celebrating. For normal consumers this would be a distressing thing, but we realize now that the 'stash' is starting to truly take on a life of its own. We're very excited about the prospects of this given the upside once things stabilize, and the chance now to start scooping up stocks at lower prices.

That's great progress.  If you think about it that's almost like having 3 of you working instead of 2!

That's a neat way to think about it!

That's fantastic. I like framing investment income that way.
