My wife fell down and has truly epic bruising and swelling on her knee and thereabouts. (Thereabouts being a foot or so from the knee...)
Abstract art! Such vivid colors! And it changes! Never the same image twice!
And, what's more, she can get another one for free anytime she wants one!
Just do a pratfall in some cat oocky-oocky, or walk into a glass door, or a host of other everyday activities. You don't even have to put wear and tear on your bicycle, you can get one in the comfort of your home.
There (ahem) might be some ancillary costs at the doctors, though...

Tattoos are cheap and easy. You just need a pen, a needle, and a lighter to sterilize the needle. And an iron will. :P

Going to jail is a great way to get a tattoo for the price of a few packets of cigarettes, bonus points are you no longer have food or utilities bills!

Eh, you can do it with just a sharp pencil.

I paid $15 for a small one by Stoney St. Clair 45 years ago. I told my wife that when I pass, she should have that part of my hide tanned & try to sell it to someone who appreciates a master work.

I paid 27$ for a small one (maybe 2"x2") in 1982 back in my Navy days in San Diego and today they would easily be 150$. Place called Tiger Jimmys. About 5 years ago I know it was still there. I am amazed by the tatoos you see especially by athletes. I always regretted mine more because of where i got it( on my right forearm) but now these full body canvas tatoos to each there own but not for me. I dont mind em Id be a hypocrit if I did but like anything, imo some people just take it a bit to far.

Yup. I (accidentally) stabbed my palm with a pencil in the 8th grade and I've had a minimalist tattoo ever since.

Depending on how old you are back when I was a kid that was a good way to get lead poisoning. In fact the old thermometers had mercury in them and I cut myself accidentally broke one and got mercury poisoning. Couple more hours i would of lost my arm.

Tattoos are so overdone. Branding is where it's at, and all you need is a stove.

FYI - Pencil lead has never been lead. It's always been graphite.
