While naturally frugal, my husband and I are still young, and went to grad school for 5 years so we're late to this lovely thing called "paychecks". After just falling short last year, this year is the first time I maxed my 401(k) at work, as well as two IRAs.
Plus investment returns, we just broke 6 figures in investment accounts! (IRAs, 401k) This is the majority of our net worth!
Saving $29k in a year is more than we made in any year prior to 2013. Thanks for reading everyone. I love reading people's stories, and how "the first 100k is the hardest"!
