I went to my university's cashier window to pay my tuition today. I noticed a credit card sticker on the window. So I asked if there was a fee for using a credit card. The lady said no! I asked again - twice. No convenience fee, no transaction fee. If you pay online with a credit card, there is a 2.5% fee, but if you pay in person - no fee!
I almost can't believe my luck. I was prepared to pay with a check, but I put it all on a card instead. With the points my card earns, it's like find a $50 bill on the sidewalk.
