I was very excited about two big wins this week.  I don't feel like I can share them with most so thanks for this community.  It is great!

1) I negotiated an additional 20k on my salary.  The HR department called me with an offer. I initially accepted it but then mulled it over a bit,  called them back and politely asked for more.  They accepted!

2) Our internet bill had increased from 30 dollars a month promotional pricing to 65 dollars. (Was supposed to only increase to 50 but they got rid of my speed tier)  I called them and said how happy I was with the service but that I hadn't expected to pay this much money and was thinking about jumping ship.  They lowered me back down to the promotional pricing for another year.

Congratulations on 20K raise on the offer!  That is huge.  And you've demonstrated how to talk to utility companies.  Hint that you will quit and they will tow the line.  Well done.

Awesome work!

I was unable to negotiate to my introductory rate of $25. After 12 months it jumped to $65 and worked my way down to $45 after a phone call.
