Got my total fees under control
« on: August 04, 2016, 06:46:07 AM »
While I'm unsure of what my costs were before I got my hands on 'Personal Capital', some reallocating and exchanging of certain higher cost funds to lower cost ones has resulted in a total portfolio cost (at present) of .1  Pretty damn low, I think.

Working for Megacorp, though soul draining at times, does have it's advantages with access to Institutional and/or Institutional Plus shares (in some cases) or at least lower than the average.  I had to get a touch more constructive in my ROTH, but some of Fidelity's offerings are .15 or less for the Premium shares.

All in all, good work, methinks.

You can access those low fee account without working at MEGACORP as well, as anyone can open a vanguard account. Unless you mean, in your 401k, which you can just roll over to an IRA any time you switch jobs.

Congrats though!

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
