Goal achieved!

I did it! Been saving 25% of my salary for a while now, and I hit 50k 1 month before giving birth to our first child, and we paid off one of my husband's student loans.  Feeling pretty pleased - I make less than 30k a year, so this is a huge milestone.  Onto 100k!

Wow! Saving 25% of $30K/year is a Hell of a lot more impressive than saving a larger percentage of a higher income. Good job!

Wow!  Hitting 50K (on $30k a year!!), paying off student loans, and giving birth all in a small time frame is AMAZING!  Any one of those things is amazing, but all three?  Just wow.  Congratulations on the birth of your child!  Keep on trucking.

Most excellent! I make $40K and save over 60% right now, but I can't imagine doing that with a new baby in the picture! We're riding towards $100K together, though!

The next goal should be to raise the income... With that progress, moving the bar from 30-60 should be pretty easy for someone with that mindset...
