Title: Gave myself a $300/month raise!
Post by: Jags4186 on June 16, 2014, 01:50:40 PM
So my GF and I are moving in together and I will be saving $200/month in rent!  On top of that GF and I agreed to only have internet and "borrow" my parents Netflix account so I will be saving an additional $100/month on cable vs my current situation with my roommate (I would have gotten rid of this a LONG time ago, but current roommate wants it, and its not worth the headache to fight about it.)

Allocate that $300 correctly. Good job.

Congrats! Way to save. What will you do with the $300?

I plan on throwing $50/month towards my yearly vacation budget (should allow hotels vs hostels on next years' trip) and $250/month towards VTI purchases.  That'll bring me to $1250/month in VTI purchases!
