Gas Fireplace Fix
« on: October 11, 2014, 08:03:25 PM »
Gas Fireplace  was not igniting from the pilot light.  Did some internet research and went through the fixes.  Turns out it was the wall switch.  Free to fix and saved a $100 minimum repairman visit.  Mygasfireplacerepair.com was the web site.

Nice... I have to clean the white stuff off my glass.  Not sure if that cleaner is really necessary or he's just trying to sell me something, though.  There's a bit of (seeming) FUD with "don't use glass cleaner as it can damage the coating"

Glass cleaner with ammonia can damage the coating.  However, you can get away with vinegar in most cases.
