Free firewood!
« on: April 07, 2015, 01:14:29 PM »
Our two salvage title Priuses filled up with free Craigslist firewood. Throw in a girlfriend who doesn't mind hauling wood and it's a Mustachian trifecta!

*People are always trying to get rid of it for free on Craigslist. After you buy/make the fire pit and a good axe, you're all set for many hours of free entertainment.

Forget a fire pit - that is how I heated my house in chilly NE for years for free!

Don't forget it warms you 3 times (at least ;)

I love my gf of 21+ years, but I just can't imagine getting her to chop and haul firewood.

Hell, I have a hard time getting her near anything resembling woods/wildlife (she's a city girl- to her, wood flooring is "roughing it").

You are a lucky man!

People get rid of firewood for free??!?  Did you have to do the splitting?  Or was it ready to go?

Hah.. Heck my Wife would chop down the tree with an axe if I let her..:)

In fact once a year we got get 2 Tons of hay for her horse.. when we get it home I almost have to fight her to let me put the forks on the tractor bucket so we can move it off the trailer and stack it in the barn because we are missing a "great workout"... um yeah right (like F that!)

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
