Free :)
« on: July 05, 2013, 11:17:25 AM »
I posted on facebook asking if anyone had a doorjamb pull up bar they wanted to get rid of. My sister was the first to comment about how they only cost $26 at Wal-Mart. A few minutes later, a girl I work with messaged me saying that her brother had one that he doesn't use anymore and she'd ask if he wanted to give it away. Sure enough, she said she would bring it to work. And she did!

Score. Free pull up bar! Every time I walk past it now I do a few pull ups :)

Double badass-free pull up bar AND you can do pull-ups! :P (Still working on them, I have to use a band at the gym to do them.)

Heh, nope. Not Mcdonalds (but nice reference!). I actually get a workout every evening for several hours. I can pull up to a 5,748 (my current record!) pound metal can that's full of freight. It's on a caster deck and I'm 113lbs. So, my job helps with my fitness!

The real question is why/how would your sister know they only cost $26 at Walmart?

You'll get there! I used to have to use the bands too :)

B/c I'm fairly certain she bought hers there. Brand. New. She's funny about "used" items.
